Walter D. Butts house, circa 1907

This home was owned by one family for 100 years. The former owner was born and raised in this house. She resided here for her whole life, and she even ran the neighborhood beauty salon out of her home. This house has 10 foot ceilings and custom milled moldings.
Spencer W. Wheeler house, circa 1912

The original owner of this home was a railroad lineman. He built his house in neighborhood because it was within walking distance to the railroad yard. During the restoration, a 2 foot long wrench used to tighten railroad ties was discovered in the backyard.
If you’re interested in purchasing a historic property in Raleigh or the surrounding areas, or if you already own your piece of history and want to restore it to it’s former grandeur, we would be happy to come out and discuss the project and supply you with a free estimate.
